Stream Projects
Marin RCD's stream projects often address a variety of concerns adjacent to (riparian areas) or within stream channels.

Pre and post-construction of an eroding streambank repaired with earthwork (reducing the slope of the opposite bank) and vegetation (native trees and shrubs).
Typically, projects in this category revegetate areas surrounding streams, help stop or reduce erosion in and around waterways, or otherwise alters a stream to provide livestock crossing or facilitate water passage. This may include livestock water crossings, earthmoving or engineering to stabilize slopes, planting projects, or installation of in-stream structures.
